Ron grew up as a pastors son along with 2 other brothers and a sister. They traveled a lot and lived in several states. They settled down in Moore, Ok and come to find out later we lived just 2 miles apart for several years and it wasn't until several years later after both of us divorced that we met and started dating. Now happily married and starting this business together has been a huge blessing. Ron had a dream growing up to one day own a black horse named Fred. We found a black horse on Craig's list one day and bought him for $200 then named him Fred! Fred is still with us to this day and definitely keeps us all on our toes!
Ron never had the chance to own horses growing up but in the 10 years we have been together has learned so much, his love for these amazing creatures surpasses all. Ron is my back bone in this business and takes care of the feeding and all the maintenance around the Ranch.

Born and raised in Oklahoma I grew up in the youth rodeos. My dad was a former bull rider and his dream I think was for us to be successful in rodeo also. My parents hauled my sister and I all over the state every weekend to youth rodeos. Our main event was Pole Bending and we won 8 saddles between the two of us off one horse in a matter of 5 years. For 5 years straight my sister and I held the championship Pole Bender title in the Jr. & Sr. division of the MRCA. The same horse took my sister to the NHSRA world Championship in South Dakota then passed the day after his final run at our MRCA finals in 1987. After losing Snake, I took some time off riding horses(my biggest mistake ever) in high school and shortly after. When I started back a few years later the drive and passion for horses had never left me! That drive and passion is what leads me to this goal of owning and running an Equine Rehab and Fitness barn. I have learned a lot over the years and so much more in the last year getting ready to open our barn but as I strive for every day and have always said, you can always learn something new every day! There is no ending to learning with horses and Rehab/Therapy!
I have now been a Registered Nurse for 26 years, happily married to Ron Sisson and have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. We all share a love for animals and horses.

"From day one I have always been around animals, horses specifically. I grew up with my mom starting the young ones on the ground, then moving on to me putting a handle on them in the saddle. Horses are extremely special and you have to treat them as such. They can sense more than many people are aware of. If you're having a bad day, they will know before you even get up to them. They require more than just food and water and a never ending work ethic. It is a specific care and emotion that happens behind the scenes that can make or break your horse. I have learned a lot but there is always more knowledge to gain. Which is why I am beyond excited to be a part of Redman Ranch and the dream they are chasing and soon turning into a reality."
